It’s also the kind of victory that most jockeys will never experience. In fact, to ride this race is a victory in itself. For the horseracing industry is powered by the nameless horses and jockeys that are riding - somewhere -every day, enduring the physical and emotional roller coaster that is thoroughbred racing.
